Please join us on February 15, 2017 6:00-8:00pm

for our Second Annual Event!

As Altrusa International focuses on literacy, our club’s main fundraiser is (of course!) a literary event: Authors and Appetizers. Last year’s inaugural event featured Lindsey Yankey (children’s author/illustrator of Bluebird and Sun and Moon) and Pam Grout (adult author of E² : Nine Do It Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality and it’s sequel: ). Both authors spoke about their lives and experiences writing books. To add to the fun, we had a splendid Silent Auction with a myriad of items to bid on such as jewelry, homemade items, baked goods and items donated by our sponsors. The tasty appetizers were created by Maceli’s and were divine.

This year’s event is shaping up to rival last year’s as we are pleased to have noted Kansas authors Nancy Pickard and Barb Stuber joining us.

We will again this year have our fun Silent Auction and Maceli’s will create our appetizers.
