Please join us on February 21, 2018 6:00-8:00pm

for our 3rd Annual Event!

As Altrusa International focuses on literacy, our club’s main fundraiser is (of course!) a literary event: Authors and Appetizers. Last year’s event featured Nancy Pickard (author of The Scent of Rain and Lightning and The Virgin of Small Plains) and Barb Stuber (author of Crossing the Tracks and Girl in Reverse). Both authors spoke about their lives and experiences writing books. To add to the fun, we had a splendid Silent Auction with a myriad of items to bid on such as jewelry, homemade items, baked goods and items donated by our sponsors. The tasty appetizers were created by Maceli’s and were divine.

This year’s event is shaping up to surpass previous events as we are pleased to have noted Kansas authors Pam Eglinski and Julie Tollefson joining us.

We will again this year have our fun Silent Auction and Maceli’s will create our appetizers.
